The mission of the Office of Spiritual Life is to support and nurture the faith development and
ethical growth of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of Lebanon Valley College.  Worship
opportunities include a Christian service each Wednesday night at 9:30 p.m. and Catholic mass
on scheduled Sundays at 12:30 p.m.  Student-led organizations sponsor Bible studies, faith-based
service projects, Christian performance groups, Jewish fellowship, and Buddhist meditation.
Interfaith banquets held each semester provide opportunities for students to learn about a variety
of faiths in the context of a holiday celebration.  The College Chaplain, who oversees the spiritual
life at LVC and teaches in the Department of Religion and Philosophy, is available for counseling as
well as for resources for developing an active and engaged spiritual life.

Our mission is to offer Jesus Christ to the Penn State community, train and equip disciples and serve in mission.
Our hope and prayer it to live out our faith in the Penn State community in a variety of ways so everyone feels welcome.
We offer a variety of student-led Bible studies each semester. Our coffeehouse provides a way for people to come and relax and the best part is everything is FREE at the Abba Java Coffeehouse. FREE lunches are served every Sunday at NOON in the coffeehouse. So come worship at St. Paul's UMC and join us for lunch.
Serving in mission is one of the greatest ways to share our faith. We have worked with the Choctaw in Mississippi, hurricane relief in Florida and Mississippi, and even through several cities in the Czech Republic.
